Yes he did start the race. He bit the head off of one of his delicacies and
spat is out at a gong which in turn got the race started.

| (...) And nobody said "it's our only hope". (...) I *hated* the bit with the sand people. It was *so* corny. The idea that the sand people would be considered a "road hazard" is fine, but the announcer's patter was awful. Was there any point to the (...) (26 years ago, 26-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
