Interestingly, at times, the Nemoidians sounded very Japanese, but at other times, their accents
were not at all Japanese (listen to the way they say "blockade")... I don't really know what to
think about this... it was distracting, but I can't decide if the accent was deliberately meant to
sound Japanese (and they made lots of mistakes?) or whether it is a periodic coincidence...
Regardless if the above statement is in fact correct, I am quite disappointed in GL... considering
that the vast majority of the story influences and ideas and even thematic devices of the entire SW
saga are clearly Japanese in origin... (admittedly so: GL himself has said that he was greatly
influenced by Akira Kurosawa and elements of the Samurai tradition... even the word: Jedi comes from
a medieval Japanese samurai drama called "Jidai Geki")
