Single "climate" or single "season"? I think climates of Tatoonie (Ep1, Ep4
and Ep6), Degobah (Ep2), Hoth (Ep5) and Yavin 4 (Ep6) are totally different.
If you mean "season", then, well..think about the insignificant changes in
"climate" through the seasons in regions like Sahara and/or Arctic regions.


I think he meant there is little or no climate variation within each planet.
All we see of Tatooine is desert; all we see of Hoth is arctic; all we see of
Degobah is jungle/swamp.  Ep1 added the all-urban planet.  Naboo (is that the
planet name, or just the people?) at least has variations:  jungle/swamp,
grassland, sea.
