ps I could see Lego coming out with a Naboo Queen's ship, built entirely with
chromed sloped bricks.  Now that would be cool.  Then again, if they didn't • use
chrome on the Naboo Fighter, they probably wouldn't on the larger ship, but • one
can only hope that Lucas would simply demand it so and it would happen.

Well, the ~$90 playset of the Queen's Ship by Kenner is finished in a dull
gray/silver, nowhere near the siny chrome/silver it should be.  I would imagine
any Queen's Ship from Lego would be the same[1]... unless they (correctly) saw
all those silver bricks as a selling point.  I mean, they can't have been
asleep for the whole sliver-brick-trading thing that went on when they released
the anniversary buckets.

I must have missed the whole silver brick trading thing. Was there really a big
noise about the silver bricks? The train people are always carrying on about how
cool it would be to make a chrome train. Anyway, I was just curious about the
whole silver brick hoopla (I am not looking for any; I have a couple.) Were the
bricks only available in the US?

[1] Err, that is to say, would be the nearest equivalent to Chrome, in this
case, light gray like the front of the Naboo Fighter.
