(...) At that scale, does it really matter if the color is a shade darker or lighter than it "should" be? Luke's eyes aren't dull LEGO brown, either, but it was close enough for minifigs. Are there any shots in Star Wars in which the highlights are (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers)

(...) Close enough. Stormtrooper highlights are indead a shade of dark Blue. That said I bet we get black with the LEGO Stormtrooper seeing they couldn't even get the color of the Falcon right. (...)   Stormtrooper Helmet Hilights

(...) I'm sure Lego will just make them black for ease of production, but most of the helmet treatments are a blueish-grey (bleudigris?) hahahaa! At least that's what my Don Post helmet shows.   Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers)

(...) Wow - great trivia question. Midnight blue? Regarding Lego Stormtroopers, I'm wondering if they will have the Scout-Trooper goggle-faces or just a black head? My guess is that they will have the goggles, but I'd prefer plain black for use as (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers)

OK here is a question what color do you think the highlights on the Stormtroopers will be? And what color do you think they should be? This is one of the common color missconceptions within Star Wars and I wonder if LEGO will get it right. Actually (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)
