You might want to look for information on "QuadraSteer". That's a Delphi Saginaw product (my company) that will be coming out on full size trucks in the near future. It adds rear wheel steering to the truck. The wheels are in phase (both turn the (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Oops. It looks like in your list you exchanged the labels of #3 and #5. And it occurs to me that the splines had to be set so that the half bushings could be pushed together and lock when on the same axle. I would have to take a look to see if that (...) I think these just correspond to the splines on the old connectors which they replace. I haven't checked it, but I think the splines are every 12.5 degrees. I suspect the crux of your answer lies in the 3-4-5 triangle. [NOT! read on to see why this isn't true!] The complements of 112.5 and 157.5 degrees are 67.5 and 22.5 degrees. I've read an advance copy of this book (thanks Ben!) and recommend it *highly* in fact, I'll be buying 10 of them as soon as they are available, one for me, and one for each of my LEGO Robotics team members. (URL) just realized that there are some things at the above URL that should be clarified: 1) There are actually 30 robotics projects in the book. I just used one Message. I still don't know how to do your test program. I always find myself confused when I mess with programming. I have no clue as to downloading the test program into slot 1 of the RCX.
