take a look at the cyber spider at www.wowwee.com

it does a lot of what walker builders want to do and it's really cheap.
$20.00 USD
i picked up one this week and all i'm looking for right now is the special
batteries that are needed for the remote.

uses infrared, and has a stack controller, but no touch sensors- there 1 csd
light sensor in the rear that gives it some sensing but it is really
limited.
for those of you who love to reverse engineer this may be the sort of thing
for you, the stack controller could be retro-fitted for lego easily but it
would need a stronger power source for the technic motors...  but i
recommend people put this on their wish list.

also tell people to take a close look at the packaging because i think that
some of the boxes have the AG-13 batteries included in the package.

regards,

m.
