John Malkovich?
Which movies might have I seen him in?

Mary Reilley, Empire of the Sun, Dangerous Liasons

How about that guy from Home Improvement, with the beard?
I sure am glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that line. How would you
spell that sound of water being sputted all over a computer monitor?

I was watching Futurama, eating watermelon, when one of Bender's lines
caused me to inhale a chunk.

Ya know, Glenn Close would be to stocky for Galadriel; we'd need someone
really tall and skinny-but-not-anorexic looking.  Perhaps Uma Thurman would
be better in this role.
I won't tell Glenn you said that :-)  And just to complicate things, Galadriel
is supposed to have a deeper voice than is usual for a woman.

Uma's voice can get pretty dang husky if you pay her enough.

Catherine Zeta Jones for Arwen.

Who's this Jones chick I keep hearing about?

Come to think of it, who was Arwen again?

Michael Keaton for Tom Bombadil?

Tom's supposed to be really really big.  Hmmm, I can see Keaton doing the
part with sfx, tho...

Ding.  Christopher Lloyd as Saruman.

Prohibition?  No, the state of Utah acepts alcohol consumption; now we're
working on polygamy...
In theory polygamy sounds intriguing, but when I really think about it, I just
get plain tired. Plus I have to remember at least two anniversaries..

And 500 birthdays, including your kids.

Cheers,
