Why?  I complain about my government, but I use it anyway.  Not like I have
a choice, or anything.

Unlike the government, or more importantly the IRS, e-bay is a choice.

Technically, the IRS and other elements of governmental intrusion are
choices as well.  There are a number of measures that people take to
avoid paying the IRS and complying with governmental regulation.
