I'm certainly in favor of keeping the BW in LLCA.  Alright, the fact I
happen to live 40 minutes from the park does show bias on my part.  But more
important is what the people who own the park think.  If BW were held in the
Northwest (for example), do you think LEGO would sponsor it to the same
degree as if were held at LLCA?  I certainly don't think so.  Knowing they
have people (consumers), adults and kids alike, coming to their park to see
this attraction and other park attractions gives them a reason to do BW'03.

Remember, LEGO is not some non-profit organization, they are a company that
wants to make money (i.e. for-profit).

southern CA. I live in the SF Bay area, and traveling down there would • have
required a considerable investment in time and $$. For the same reasons, I
won't attend BF'03 if it's held in the same place.

I know it makes a lot of sense to hold it down there - that's where the • park
is, there's a healthy population of AFOL's there, and that's where the
organizers live (I think). Still, those of us who live in other areas • might
like to see it move closer to us. Are other locations (the Bay area or the
Northwest, for example) even being considered?
