As a volunteer BricksWest organizer who worked closely with Matt on the
event, I feel compelled to answer this post.

And these things were outside of the organizers' control. Blaming Matt for
what happened is not fair in the least. Thanks to Brad Justus for doing
what he could to make up for someone else's mistake by passing out meal
vouchers.

I assure you, everything that was planned for BricksWest that "failed" was
not by the fault of the organizers. Accusing Matt (and possibly others) of
false promises is preposterous.

Me too.

Matt did an incredible job with what he was given. You are way off base for
criticizing him when he spent countless hours of his free time to give the
AFOL community an amazing weekend. Until you've walked in his shoes, you
have no room to attack him.

From experience, making decisions by committee is a way _not_ to get things
done.
