Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) He he he! My thought exactly! There's no way my husband of eight years would even think to buy that many sets for me. Of course he needs to buy me a bigger house right now to keep my current collection under one roof! ;) Tanya (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Hmm. You guys make me a tad jealous, but also appreciative of your efforts! My total mini-fig population during the 2000 Census was only 742, of which only 193 were Castle. Those numbers have gone up slightly since then, but certainly nowhere (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  the Ten Symdrall emerge.....

Hey guys! Check out the new pictures of the Symdrall, and let me know what you think! (URL) ya missed the story of the Symdrall and the creation of Velaria, then go here to clear up the confusion: (URL) next excerpt will arrive within the next (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Just counted what I have (although an odd fig or two may have been misplaced in my spare piece boxes at the time)... I have modified color schemes and divided my Castle figs into factions to follow my own storyline, so I will include my (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Motte and Bailey Notes

Hi all, I finally found a little time to look up a few things in my home library and return to the topic of Motte and Bailey Castles. About a month ago, a few questions about this came up as a few of you had considered building one of LEGO, perhaps (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I am both embarrased and delighted to share that I have been secretly collecting an army of Knights Procession minifigs in hopes that no one has more than me. The grand total is somewhere around 300 (give or take 10). Collecting the shields to (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I have got 18 of these figs; 12 of which I have had since I opened the boxes about 1983 or so. I thought 18 was a lot. Guess I was wrong. My grand total of all Castle figs must be over 1,000 but I have never counted and I haven't lined them up (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Not substantial. . .I think 27 when my most recent BrickLink order comes in (although I might be distinctive for owning that many without actually owning a complete 677). For the record (I really did count them before this thread started, but (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I think you raise a good point. I can easily see medieval army building as very addctive, but while I have 300 medieval figures or so, I have never really used them at the same time for anything. I have never really gotten into brickwars, and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I think the thing that bugs me most about them is that they have 3 different torso patterns, and a fourth on their shields. I would optimally like a faction to have the same single heraldic device on their shields and torsos. For this reason I (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I don't know why anyone would give you a hard time about it. I use the figures for gaming - I just don't have the time to paint miniatures anymore - and my 10 year old also plays with them. But that's me. I also build - but I wouldn't need (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) Oh no! Now I have to list my factions in order of preference! Curse you! :-) I'm only refering to the minifigs, not the sets that go with it (which would change the list radically). 1. Black Falcons: my son and I agree, our favorites! 2. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Estuary Stronghold revisited

(...) Let me add my compliments to those previously expressed. I think the whole things is great. So much detail! Wow! I must have missed your post two years ago announcing this. I think it is just awesome. BEN GATRELLE (...) It's actually under (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) I agree, roughly, with this list. I would probably put crusaders and classic a little higher, and knock Knight's Kingdom down near the bottom of the list. I don't like the too-distinctive minifig face prints, although the KK guys look a bit (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs!

(...) The thing that bugs me most about the Dragon Masters is that they are hideously ugly and don't seem to be related to any actual historical period that I can discern, although their helmets look Roman and their architecture is vaguely (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)
