Lars, I just wanted a way of letting a novice know that a color-16 line _might_ not be an _accident_ on the part of the author. LeoCad can do that sort of thing - but not very straightforward, here is the procedure: - Rename your sub-model as .dat (LeoCad doesn't properly support .dat extension) - Open it with Leocad - Select all parts (edit/select all) and Copy (Ctrl-C) - (...) Not sure which author would be willing to do this if any? Currenlty L3P/L3PAO when using the -sc (stepclock) function will allow a user to render the model by the number of steps (each step = 1 image) in your .ldr file. This is a WONDERFUL tool but (...) Hello Steve, Looks very good... The easiest solution would be to add an 'Date of first submission' field in the part table. I thought about this issue while I was at work and I've decided to reverse my opinion on the matter. I feel that self-cert is OK as long as the user doing it is responsible and feels comfortable doing it. I probably won't start self-certifying my (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Tim, You need to make extra subfiles, for the dithered colors. (LDraw requires this; otherwise, LDraw messes up rendering the dithered colors.) "Dithered colors" are those color codes from 256 to 511. (for ex.): Simply copy all the quads for (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

[fut --> ".dev" ] (...) I don't recall who did it, but I do recall that someone did encode a version of the bushman hat. I don't recall if he ever posted the file to LUGNet, though...
