Since I know what just about every peice is named in LDraw, I find ONYX's part search program much more useful than the VEC, so I've deleted my VEC dir (sorry Steve - I still use the other useful functions of LDAO, though) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o (...) Can anyone explain how to intersect a quad? I'm sure I can figure it out on my own, but if someone knows of some straightforward formulae, I'd be very appreciative. How big is my what!? Oh.... Right now, mine is 14 mb. Yep, 14,722,692. But I have it rendered at 50% *and* I used a batch conversion to reduce the LDLite output to 8 bits.(1) Sure it took a while, but the savings were significant. If I remember (...) (26 years ago, 2-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I asked about this part a while back, and ended up making a crude mock-up for it. I'm using it in a new Pallas Spaceworks vessel, but in such a way that my mock-up looks horrible. I'm having problems with LDLite 1.6, using the -R option. It's supposed to write out a new file, with the LDLite code translated to equivalent LDraw commands. But it doesn't seem to be working. i have discovered a problem with some of the parts e.g. the 10 x 10 octogonal plate and the blue squares pattern bricks. these parts have the reference to the stud files in caps. this causes problems with ledit which fails to draw the line instead (...) i have an idea on how to make making elements easier that is free. what you need: max2dat ac3d (forget url) crossroads (folow link on ac3d page) what you do. make the element in ac3d. export it to a pov file. convert it to a 3d studio file with (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

steve, i have a small suggestion for your roadplates... how about making the flat surface hard coded color #7... (if you have already done that then disregard this post) so that if you make them green, say, they show up properly. i did this for the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

What is LDS (sorry if I am being obtuse)? Also what is the exact behavior of INCLUDE? I assume the line will look like: 0 INCLUDE /include/file/path And if I remember correctly all the parts in the file are loaded into memory for use but not drawn. (...)
