I think it's highly unlikely that this new element won't show up in other
places completely unrelated to SW and light sabres, and it probably will
even show up in opaque colors.
IMHO, calling this element a light sabre blade is like calling the white 3x3
disc element an umbrella table. (Not that 6543 Sail N' Fly Marina was the
first place that this element showed up, but it's probably the most "famous"
place.)
I agree with Steve.

| (...) I agree. Naming pieces by their theme use is a bad idea. Usually. And Todd's mention of the "umbrella" is a good one. It, and the the "Umbrella stand" should have been given descriptive names based on their physical characteristics, not there (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
