  Globe on Legoland

Hi, There was an aritcle in the Sunday Globe Travel section on Legoland, CA. The authors opinion was that the park is nothing special except the models are awsome. Couple of good shots of the models accompany the article. Ken (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Kohl's 25% off

Kohl's is having 25% off this week. Their regular prices are marked up. The example that comes to mind is 7171 Mos Espa Podrace is regularly $99.99, so 25% off brings it down to about $75 - still cheaper than full price Target. Julie (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: New to this site.

(...) First, Welcome! We're always glad to see someone else come out of their dark ages. Second, while asking for replies via e-mail is fairly common on Usenet newsgroups, it's not here. This is a friendly place where we discuss a lot of things, and (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  New to this site.

I've just started my adult lego collection. I have bits and pieces of some old sets. I was wondering if there is a lot of trading or selling one on one or in groups on this site? Have groups of you ever gotten together and traded amongst yourselves? (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Black! Wow -- that is wild indeed! So they were as boxtops! Ahh, now that explains the goofy mold shape. I think the gray one (10x10) with the super-thin perimeter on the bottom is the exact type I cut my foot on as a child: the edge just (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Swap Meet

Well I tried to run an auction last year, but didn't get all that much participation, which was due to either a) it was my first auction, b) no-one wanted the sets I had, or c) due to pricing everything in $Aus [and making it known that I was, and (...)   Re: Lego Racers?

(...) It's kinda cute. It's probably marketed towards 6-9-year-olds, though. There are many circuits to race, each with decors from various LEGO System themes. For example, there is an adventurers/jungle circuit, and it has the adventurers bi/sea (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

[MN] New BRICKS Auctions - Tons of Mini-Figs and Much, Much more!
