  RAH-105 "THUNDER-CHIEF" STEALTH HELICOPTER
 
I spent about 10 hours of build time on this "Stealth" helicopter that I named, RAH-105 "Thunder-Chief". I incorporated a lot of S.N.O.T. on this moc and it features an electric lego motor powered by a 9 volt battery that spins the rotor with just a (...) (URL) The Trésfroid is a cutter operating in the waters around Port Brique, a much more modern design than many of my other vessels. Built on a one centre section narrow hull (from the Sealion), the Trésfroid’s hull is widened using inverted slopes (...) I'm sure people have thought of this before, but it would be really nice to have an LDraw Java Viewer developed, so that models could be viewed in a web page. I was at Robocup Junior today (it's not often you see hundreds of RCXs in one room!). Anyhow, one of the sponsors was Education Experience (who supply Lego to schools) who had a table with a NXT on display, although they didn't let you get hands-on (...) This SHIP started in 2002 as an experiment to build a click-hinge based cylinder, and eventually became a composite of various SNOT and non-standard building techniques. most of my purchases have come from new sets and pretty much all of the rest have been at a local second hand toy shop that I go to (they do LEGO by the part and by the set and I am one of their best customers) Right now though I have pretty much (...) I live in Chicago so there are dozens of resale shops, and enough affluence that alot of folks just prefer to drop it off for that warm-fuzzy-feeling and tax write off rather than bother with Ebay.
