  Blacktron Rho Units

Blacktron... (pause) As we all know, Blacktron are cool. So are robots. Combine the two and you hit paydirt. These little guys are 'Rho' series mechanoids. I think there's something rather sinister about these three: (URL) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha) !

  "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

I'm a little concerned about the boxes with "Ads by Goooooogle" that shows in my browser at Brickshelf and other sites. As they make ads with Swedish topics, there seems to be some kind of intelligence behind them(?), targeting the ads in a creepy (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What if.....

(...) Larry brings up a good point. When you think about a "Dream" part you have to look at how it would benifit the TLC. I think the 6x12 train plate has the potential to elliminate the need for the 6x24 and 6x28 train plates. Aslo from a (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Greetings, I know I'm probably flogging this sub-theme to death, but I'd like to present my latest turtle gallery updates: (URL) (unfinished) scaled-up versions: (URL) are good. Pete (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Re: Looking for Brickshelf members

(...) You can always try and match up the Brickshelf username with Bricklink usernames. From Bricklink's main page go to search, find members, by username. A search for jamesx yielded one in Florida. Just click on his username there to contact him. (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: What if.....

(...) Wouldn't use one. Would use the 2x2 tile with technic pin instead. (...) Bzzt, wrong answer. We're talking about a part that we want LEGO to make. It needs to fit in with their current parts and be useful to what they do. They do 6 wide. (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LDraw.org's January Model and Scene of the Month Winners

(...) Sorry, I didn't have time to make/update the applicable pages but I thought it would be best if I least started the poll since it was so late in the month. I should have this rectified by the weekend. -Orion (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org's January Model and Scene of the Month Winners

(...) Yeah, I noticed that too. I wanted to go back and examine the pics for the small model. Can't remember what it was now, but there was something odd about the way the studs rendered. There was either a lot of z-bleeding, or else it just ripped (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: Evolution of the minifig

(...) The .xml file is similar to a RSS feed. Most aggregators use them interchangeably. So that is indeed what I was looking for. I should have just checked for that file, instead of relying on (URL) Bloglines> to find it for me. Feedburner looks (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org's January Model and Scene of the Month Winners

So, I went and voted for next month, and then wanted to look at some again, so I went to the Contests page here: (URL) Unfortunately, it appears that that page is out of date. The archive of past winners doesn't have any 2005 entries, and the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Othniel the First Judge of Israel

(...) Aha! I hadn't noticed that. I just assumed that those were the insides of some CRAPP that I'm unfamiliar with, but hadn't looked close enough to notice the undersides of the studs. Nice. Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Evolution of the minifig

(...) Hey, I appear to have an atom feed (not quite sure what that means) at: (URL) Is that what you mean? I see that there is also a link to Feedburner (URL) , so maybe I should read up on that. I gather from this that there are two different feed (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.publish, FTX)

  Re: What if.....

(...) How will you get the bogie plate to rotate adequately though? Perhaps 7-wide would be better. To solve the 1-wide-plates-along-...e-problem, make it 8-wide! On second thoughts, that wouldn't work for locos with a thin stripe of one colour at (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: RC Car

(...) Cool! That's what I'm looking for. Although charging in groups of 4 is annoying. Back when I was racing RC Cars I had 4 battery packs. One for each heat at a standard race day. Back then we did all sorts of things to get the batteries to last (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
