The new mecha are better proportioned than the older ones, and they hold
together much better.

The blue one looks like a gremlin, so I named it appropriately.

Enjoy!

Chris

They remind me somehow of plastic army guys. Like you'd have your marching guy,
your mine detector guy, your crawling guy, your belly shooting guy, your
kneeling shooting guy, your bazooka guy, your machine gun guy, your commander
guy, and of course your radio guy. Except these mecha are for some robotic army
of the future.

I'd like to see one in Green and another in Bley.

I like the poseability improvements. Being able to rotate the legs outward is
crucial.

I'm mystified as to what the spacer parts are on the hip joint pneumatic tees in
the group photo. Lego doughnuts?

Heh!  The plastic toy soldier analogy isn't too far off.  I sort of envisioned a
mini mecha army of cannon fodder in designing these - to be munched on by
Bryce's cankerworm or some other horrific large creation.  But I'll keep the
magnifying glass away from them (too many plastic toy soldiers met their fate at
the hands of a magnifying glass and a sunny day...)

As for the spacers - I'm sad to say - Some battle droids had an unfortunate
acident which left them as amputees.  But one mech's loss is another's gain...

Actually, I find the spacers to be unnecessary in most cases, so the majority of
battle droids have been spared.

Thanks for the comments!

Chris
