I almost forgot to share this: Because we add to our tracks for greater realism, we don't have much if any room for track lead connections. IndyLUG has had an excellent expierence with GATS over the years. We do their show twice a year, October & January. I built this loco right after the BNSF set came out, but never got around to taking pics of it. Better late than never... It took the equivalent of around 15 sets to get all of the necessary dark green tiles and 1x1 slopes to make this, and BL (...)   ILTCO at National Train Show
 
Well, we did it!!!! 70+ AFOLs from 13 clubs and the CUT team build a 50-70 foot Lego display at the National Train Show in Cincinnati. It took approx. 750 (wo)man-hours to build. It will be impossible to describe in words how much fun it was, but we (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.events, lugnet.town) !!

All- I didn't quite get the closing hours for the OC Fair correct in my post. The fair closes everyday at 00:00 (midnight), but the SCLTC layout closes everyday at 23:00. -Ted (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

Thanks James! There are really no words that can describe this! It took me (as others have concured) several hours the first day to even comprehend the magnitude of this layout! When you look up and see far off in the distance a cluster of (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains)
