Very little to it, just more 2x2s (we used different colors, green in this
photo):
The 4 3/4 inch galvanized steel poles that run through the stripes are each
placed in 4x4 stud holes and are sunk 14 inches into the base made of 3 sheets
of 5/8th inch MDF. The base is bolted and lag screwed to the stand supplied by
OCF. We want the flag to stand up to ground movement and some serious wind, if
necessary.

| (...) What about the curve? How did you maintain structural integrity with many people building the moc (as in the shape of the curve)? From my experience with 2x2 bricks and curves they do not have a lot of clutch power. So your building technique (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)
