I still have to go through my photos to post and to “borrow” ideas for some MOCs
that have been on the back burner for a while. I was taking so many pictures, I
killed my battery twice (I wised up and just brought a recharger on Sunday).
I thought this was amusing (and unfortunately my camera was packed). As the
NGLTC/CUT/GFLTC convoy left Cincinnati Monday morning, a train was coming in
over the viaduct. I was looking at the various stock cars going by, picturing
them in brick, when a green hopper goes by. The leasing company’s abbreviation?
BRIX
It would have been better had the train been leaving Cincinnati with us, but
still...
Again, I can’t begin to express enough thanks to those who organized this event,
to those who helped me, and to those who were genuinely good people to know.

| The GMLTC contingent made it home safe and sound, although having travelled a bit farther than expected. (Ok, I'll admit it - I got on the wrong freeway heading out from one of the Chicago Lego stores! D'oh!!) The show was absolutely unbelievable. (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
