Ben, Once again you've excelled yourself! I particularly like the hopper wagons, they really do capture the look of the German prototype - its amazing how much difference a few details can make, a real improvement on the standard blue hopper. It took me a while to figure this walkway out, the first versions got stuck sometimes in the curves, crashing it, but I've ran it for over 100 laps (with curves and switches) without problems after the last revision. Well done LEGO, with both World City trains and police! With on exception, and that is buildings. The train station and police station are still a far cry from the golden age, though a huge jump from Town Jr. I am very impressed with the vehicles, (...) I tried to find i nfo on the clips that are attached to the monorial motor (that hold the bases), but could locate an answer. May I suggest a name change for theme? Say "World City Police"? ;-) I must say a lot of the stuff looks great. My general observation is that the 2003 town line is very realistic. I recently aquired a 7745 (great train, incidentally), but one thing about it surprised me. All the wheels (except on the motor of course) were black with red axles. The instructions nor any photos I've see of this set have this. So is it some (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.trains)

The whole thing is (as usual) spectacular. However, one piece shined out in my minnd way above the rest: (...) The InterRail station is GORGEOUS!!!! I agree with Calum that it's not the communities responsiblity to support such ventures, it's really up to the free market. I used a 48x48 stud base plate as "form" to mount the points (switches?) on while they were being "processed". The error in the track change switching arrangement must be a lot less than 1 stud as nothing seemed to bow or strain during the placement (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.trains)
