Hi Ben, I cut the tube with a small hobby knife just a razor blade with a handle really, first few were a little bit wide but about but now are perfect, i washed the tube first and removed the talc, only problem have had so far was my train got up a (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

Tim - I built the airport terminal and my dad built the airplanes and jetways. My brother added a motor to the small prop plane to spin the propellers. They are all minifig scale. (...) 7740 is definitely an easy set to convert to 9v. I suggest two motors in the engine, and go ahead and replace the trucks on the cars with 9v wheels, they will go with the 9v motors better and definitely roll better. You may find you only need (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

Just a few notes about the playmobil tires. They do fit around the large red wheels. (not the small ones on 7740) Sorry for the confusion. I have fitted them on my 4-4-0 that uses these wheels and they seem to work good. Maybe even to good, now my (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

I Agree. I would really like to see Conductor Charlie and Engineer Max minifigs. And how about some passenger minifigs with back packs and lugguage, and please don't forget some female minifigs - very important. While I'm at it, how about a historic (...)
