Beautiful engine!  It's wonderful in looks and mechanicals.

One question- do those wheels manage all track configs?  Or does it have
problems with switches or crossings?

(...) Good question. He tested it out on curve-straight-curve...aight-etc, but not on points (we have no points currently on the layout, or crossings, for that matter). I will have to have him set up some test track and do some test runs. -John (22 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

My 12 year old son presented me with this loco for Christmas (which he secretly built)-- I was, to say the least, quite impressed with it! Here is how he describes it: It is an 8 wide engine with a 5 wide boiler, with the six drivers powered by a 9 (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)
