I'm really quite impressed with this. Now, if it were a 0-8-0, it would
probably look more like a "real" loco than my Caribou that is downstairs!
Please congratulate your son for the good work.
(Caribou is a 0-8-0 3.5" gauge live steam engine-I joke that most HO models
will fit into the firebox, and that HO brass is now more expensive than Caribou
was...but, it is intended for me to have a loco that I can wear the wheels off
of, instead of trashing my Brit hauling small childern en mass)

| My 12 year old son presented me with this loco for Christmas (which he secretly built)-- I was, to say the least, quite impressed with it! Here is how he describes it: It is an 8 wide engine with a 5 wide boiler, with the six drivers powered by a 9 (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)
