Hi Ben,
I cut the tube with a small hobby knife just a razor blade with a handle
really, first few were a little bit wide but about but now are perfect, i
washed the tube first and removed the talc, only problem have had so far was
my train got up a bit to much speed and 1 front tire came half off and
caused a pile up on a corner but if train runs at normal speed no problems
as yet, left my train running for an hour no slippage at all.
Take care and have a top day.

| (...) Dear Craig, I would be highly interested in your experiences with the bicycle tubes. Please tell me: how exactely have you cut them in 4 mm rings with 90° angle? (Knive or cicle? Is any further assistance needed?) How is the running behaviour? (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)
