Hey all! I won't be able to be at the build session. Kim will be home though and able to let you in. The kids will be having a baby sitter about 5 PM so you won't have access to the house after that. Regards, Steve (21 years ago, 5-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: Anybody know anything about this???

I signed up last year or so for a Bloomington meetup, and get quarterly invitations, some of which I respond to. THere's never been a critical mass to actually call a meeting, though. (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Anybody know anything about this???

I was browsing the net today and came across this. (URL) anyone know anything about this? Is it done by some of our members? See you all on Sunday. Jeramy (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  GATS - January 3-4

I got a signup sheet for GATS here in Indianapolis January 3-4, 2004. They've changed the payment policy so that we are guaranteed $200 instead of competing in a contest. It appears that the payment is based on the number of shows we've done. Since (...) (21 years ago, 3-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Items for the October GATS

Hey everyone, I unfortunately will not actually be able to attend any more of the build sessions prior to the October 18th GATS. I will however, figure out a way to drop a few things off prior to the show, perhaps on the weekend of 12th if not (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  FW:oil platform

Due to a family death, I will be unable to attend this Sunday's build session. I want to let everyone know the project is completed, so I will present it on the 5th of October.   I'll be there Sep. 28

As it turns out I DO have this coming Sunday off and will be at the build session. I'm sure Mark will be there along with anyone who added bulk packs to his LSAH order. I think I remember Steve saying that he won't be there until probably after (...) (21 years ago, 27-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Sky Dragon

The sky wheel (Ferris wheel-type thing) is finished. Since I won't be at any build sessions, I want to give you dimensions so you can allocate room. The front and back are 52 studs wide and the sides are 36 studs long. It's not mounted on base (...) (21 years ago, 26-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: IndyLUG PC

Thanks, Mark! I've found/acquired a few parts recently, too. Let's see what we have now: a fuzzy 14" monitor a CD-ROM drive a floppy drive a keyboard a cheap mouse a socket 7 AMD Athlon CPU and motherboard RAM a computer desk (do we need one, or (...)   Re: IndyLUG PC

(...) Does it smell like diapers, have mice living in it, or anything like that? Maybe your neighbors went Amish, so they had to get rid of it, even though there's nothing wrong with it. (21 years ago, 24-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: IndyLUG PC

(...) I just happened to come across a HP Pavilion 8240 today in the neighbors trash. I remember brian mentioning he needed the case so I grabbed it.   Re: Two things

(...) It is in my barn. You can come get it anytime, or I can take it to work and you can get it there. (...) Excellent. Thanks, Eric. BTW, our best calculations indicate that we will need 40 person hours of setup time. In other words, we'll really (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Two things

Two things: 1) Who has my Digitrax DCC system? I need to get it back so I can get it up to Purdue's railroad club. 2) I got GATS information today. Here's the deal: Friday 10/17 - setup 3pm - 9pm Saturday 10/18 - setup 7-9:30 am, show opens at 11am, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

I'll be there on Sep. 21

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be there tomorrow for the build session. Yeah, it's really late notice, but I know that there are people who like to know if anyone else is going to show up. I'll probably get there between 2:00 and 2:30. (...)   Re: is it a relay or is it yet another motorized switch?

Hi Brian, The plans are perfect. I'm going to make 5 for you to motorize some of the switches on your DCC loop. I know I have a few more motors but I just can't seem to get my hands on them with a more extensive search. Are you going to be at any of (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)
