I had a thought about large containers for pre-assembled sections of the layout.

Start with the first picture and proceed sequentially, reading the file names as
you go. Another note about it: if the sides aren't too high and made of
plexiglass (expensive, I know), we could just leave the outside pane(s) bolted on
for the show. The kids could put their noses right up to the layout!
