The train6 layout Derek designed offers very little space for cities, which I think is a good thing. IT'S NUTS, but that's LEGO Canada. I know dealers in USA getting stock closer to 10-15 December, and UNLIMITED AMOUNT, basically forces anyone up here who wants it to try Amazon.Com, or contacts in USA. NOT NICE! Well you won't find much at any small store till After December 15-20th at least, LEGO is not shipping to Canadian dealers till the 15th so depending on how close they are they might have stock, but very limited, one case of each item and that's it. First lesson-- the DCC accessory block needs an actual motor attached to the motor output in order for the RCX LDCC to detect and program the DCC chip in the accessory brick. This I did not know. Has anyone actually used the complete board mounting listed on the web site to hold a C$ board in place? The pictures show how to hold the board down, in addition to the pieces around the side. 2 things: 1. I don't see any reason why you should not file off the bumps. (FYI other people have built boards and the bumps did not matter) 2. no one is allowed to use YELLOW and red chips. if you have a board that has yellow and red chips STOP (...) I bought a C4 board with black and red pieces. I want to file off all the bumps, to make it easier to drop the pices in to the board.
