The December 22nd, 2002 Sunday edition of the Toronto Star features a Lego brick mosaic of the paper's banner, in place of the normal banner on the top of the front page. Chris (the Star reporter) has contacted me tonight. His editor thought it'd be a great idea id someone could build the Sunday Star logo out of LEGO bricks by Saturday. Dave re these two problems (...) have you tried putting an RCX in each leg. maybe even using the rcx as a foot. now the bot only has to lift the weight if the bot and ONE rcx per step. also with the RCX down low you lower the COG. just a thought. So here's a few things I learned whilst building LOR... My usual 'reinforce until the cows come home' doesn't work when the idea is to keep it light Artifacts increase exponentially per every change--to eliminate artifacts, you must start rebuilding (...)
