Strange that no anti-trust people had a problem with that transaction.
Back to Java, as I understand it, Internet Explorer does not have its own
virtual machine, it uses MRJ, and Netscape has its own built in virtual machine.
I thought that the 5.0 release of Netscape was supposed to use Apple's MRJ, but
I have not heard anything about that.
It is a tough choice for Mac users, Netscape has a bad virtual machine, but
handles plug-in correctly. Internet Explorer uses MRJ, but does not handle
plug-ins correctly. Oh well,
