Fright Knights: 100
Hmm... never had a real use for them. 40 or 50, but they're in a bag stuffed
in the back. Maybe I should try to find a place for them.

The good thing about Fright Knights are that they can easily be drafted into
other armies since their torsos are non-faction specific.   I only have so
many because the minifig pack was on sale when I was first starting to build
up my armies.

Forestmen: 60
26. I'd like more, but they're so darn expensive!

They *can* go for a lot, but quite often I can get them at a reasonable
price.  The truth of the matter is even though people like them and they are
in demand, there are still a lot floating about.

I guess I should clarify a bit. Expensive for me at this point is darn near
everything. Although the military isn't known for it's get rich quick
programs ( chances of winning the lottery are exponentially larger ), the
regular active duty sure beats the heck out of Midshipmen pay. Put it this
way, I went from a little over $1500 a month( which isn't much, but when all
you do is travel on board ship to interesting places like Australia and
Japan, who's going to argue, y'know? ) to less than 5% of that by accepting
an appointment to a service academy. They say it pays in the end, and I'm
sure it does. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all! Well, maybe
just a little. I think I was pretty fortunate to be able to travel the
world, support my country in military service and now get college for free
at one of the premier academic institutions our nation offers. All in
exchange for some stress, a lot of sweat, and next to no pay. What a deal!
Yeah yeah, I know, but in the meantime, it's puts one heck of a cramp in my
lego aquisitions. Ah, the price we must pay for our dreams...! :P

Peasants: 20
The working class. 30 or so, more if need be, but I only keep 30 pre-made.

I was refering to the specific gray-forestman torso generally identified as
a "peasant", rather than draftees from other lines.

I wondered if that's what you meant. I've got about 15 or so of the originals.

Wolfpack: 70
15 tops. I like these too. Same problem as forestmen

Now this one is odd.  People like 'em, and they weren't out that long so
they are in short supply.  But I haven't had that hard of time getting them
for a reasonable price - indeed, I have so many because deals were
plentiful.  I suspect that while they have a devoted following, many people
just don't bother with them.

Old Style Scale: 50-- mostly turned into Black Knights
Old Style Breastplate: 50 -- split between Black knights and Crusaders

My blue torso sacled figs end up with the Black Falcons, and the red torso
scaled figs go with the Crusaders.  My least favorite torso is the old solid
breastplate fig, so that always gets armor over it and I determine it's
faction more by the Horse Barding.

I also use Indians and Islanders in my worlds. I've got about 100 or indians
and about 150 Islanders.

Gosh, and here I thought Frank Filz was the champion Islander collector.

Got a real good deal on them, and I couldn't refuse. What to do with them?
Now that's an interesting matter. But I'm sure they will turn up somewhere.
The IOM is a big place you know... Hmm...

Skellies, mummies, and other various undead (Darth Maul works as an Orc, or
as a wraith with the black side turned around) should be mentioned.

Bruce

You know my biggest army isn't even castle. I wish I could incorporate it,
but somehow I don't think I could use a Union or Confederate army in a
castle context. Got a little over 300 of the Union guys and 150+
Confederates. Brikwars anyone?

Seriously though, Is there still talk of a brikwars game going at Brickfest
this year? Any word on what type of game or what scale? I'd love to mix it
up with a few other armies. Keep checking the Brickfest newsgroup, but maybe
it's too early to start planning in earnest.

Looking forward to it though! If anyone has word ( or rumors... we like
rumors... yeah! ) please pass it along! Till then,

- Joe
