Tim, I use the LGEO library, and use L3P with the L3Pao to generate the POV files. I haven't had many problems at all. I forgot to mention, when you use 3DWin, convert the .dat file to a .dxf then convert that to pov/moray. it works a lot better than converting them directly. I use 3DWin (URL) to convert to Moray (URL) have to re-color the parts, but if you use l3p to make pov files of the model you can copy the colors created to the material editor in moray. Just as with my query some time back about shutters and texture... I think the real part has texture (or else i am using the wrong part) but the LDraw version just has lines drawn on it, I think. Jacob recently asked for an ldglite enhancement to dump ldglite command line args and POV camera settings which reproduce the current view. I assume he means l3p compatible camera settings. Well, I decided to test the waters in the LDRAW and related software community finally. I've created a 3D model of my latest MOC Train Car as an initial test. A quick check of peeron reveals that set 4215, from 1998, did contain the camel head and the subject element (albeit in blue), and that was the same year as the release of 8462 (also having it in (...)
