What kind of light soarce did you use?
I've always had problems making things glow by useing lights.

I just threw the lights in before converting using L3PAO's -lc (lighting
coordinates) option.  My guess is they're pointlight sources that L3PAO
generates by default.  I didn't see any options to change that either.
