I've noticed that if I use tan in my models the parts actually come out using the default colour choice set using l3p (greyish if not defined). I've got the complete lgeo download and the #15 update. I'm having a little trouble loading this as a part in MLCAD. When I load it on its own it's okay but when you use it in a Model the bow moves away from the side ribs. Does anyone else have this problem. Other than that it looks good. (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Hello again (long time no post). I'm in the process of developing my own DAT-based CAD program. One of the things that frustrates me about MLCAD is the apparent inability to drag parts around inside the isometric view--you're forced to use an (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Just to prove I haven't been idling, here's another version of the Explorien symbol-and-planet logo. This one is an odd size (approx 10 times bigger than the logo on the 2x2 tile), and is in MPD form. I used a scanned image as the basis, putting it (...) Ok I dug up the hires ring generator program I made when I did 30056.dat and generated hires versions of 1-4rin18.dat 1-4ring9.dat so now it's all there in glorious hires with no ugly seams. 0 FILE 6002.dat 0 part 6002 round Panel 6 x 6 x 9 with (...) One of the files in the update may have problems with LDraw - it's got a 9.3 filename instead of 8.3. The file is 3068pmaw2.dat (Tile 2 x 2, with Star Wars Mawhonic's Pod Racer pat). Yes, that would be very helpfull! I was using 2.0 and had to run through the file with the parts several times at different magnification in order to get all the parts cropped correctly. When you get the book, look at the parts list in the (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad)

I rushed together a little program that removes the lines that confuse Bryce. It has four buttons: * Suggest: Suggests the lines to be removes by checking them. * Change: Removes the checked lines. * Save: Saves the file by overwriting the old, (...) This has been submitted to parts@ldraw.org. I've now added the optional lines - looking at other heads in the parts dir I could find no special handling of the optional lines depending no matter what the head pattern so I have used the same format. Since I noticed this uses bits of the only piece I ever made, I felt compelled to check it out. Looks nice. One thing though. I used the hires primitives in the p\48 subdirectory for 30056.dat. (...) Very cool! Looks quite nice, even in purple. ;) But there is one little detail that c/should be changed: don't use WRITE statement. Comments are fine, just leave off the WRITE. This is a workaround and a little bit laborious, but it works fine on my German version of Bryce 4.0, even with a 23 Mbytes converted Lightwave-file.
