OK, you asked for it, and now you've got it.
I've preposted an "Unofficial Update" page at:
<http://www.ldraw.org/library/unofficial/>
There are no links to this page yet, so it's not officially unofficially
released.
Anyway, take a look, tell me what you think.
The good news: I created the page using some scripts, so it's relatively
easy to add or update some files and regen the index page.
The bad news: "relatively easy" is a long way from "brain-dead easy", when
you're talking about hundreds of files. :(

| (...) 1.is it just me or are the links to most of the parts broken? (I was able to get at the parts by manually typing in the urls :) and 2.those black lines over the text, why are they there? (24 years ago, 8-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| One of the files in the update may have problems with LDraw - it's got a 9.3 filename instead of 8.3. The file is 3068pmaw2.dat (Tile 2 x 2, with Star Wars Mawhonic's Pod Racer pat). Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was going to use it and (...) (24 years ago, 8-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| Re: Unofficial parts at (URL) FYI, there are a few more new files out there. I'm not going to continue announcing updates; they should continue to occur on an ongoing basis, nearly daily. I'm going to modify the format of the page a bit, to include (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
