I am having a problem with the LDAO VEC. I have just got a new computer, and have put Ldraw and LDAO (the newest version) on it. I downloaded the "complete.exe" from the ldraw.org start page. However, none of the "underscore" part catergories are in (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

Just a couple critiques... viewing the file in ldlite, it looks like a few pieces are misaligned by a half-stud or more... it's a good idea to change views every once in a while while you are building so you can make sure bricks are lined up (...) I've posted a minor update to LDAO. Besides fixing a few bugs, the various editors can now work more smoothly when L3Lab is used as the viewer. They correctly initialize polling, and default to the isometric '3D' view. Besides the mondo-big install (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

Keyboard command I launches the part window to allow you to enter the part number. So far I know LEdit expects the part number following the I and then creates a new part .... this is what MLCad does as well. The P command is used to change a (...) This one was more difficult to build properly than I thought before I started. I dropped the roof to make it an open truck cab version. It's not necessarily true that the old DOS interface is more difficult or bothersome, but that it appeals more to an expert user. Conversely, the MLCad UI (...) Hey, Has anyone ever created a SimCity2000 or 3000 tileset using LDraw? I know that L3Lab is perfect for this (just remove studs & lines). Hi, I was just wondering, Does a utility exist (either for .Dat or .Dxf or .Pov) that automatically eliminates all polygons that are not visible? I thought this might cut rendering time in POVray, and I'm trying to export *.dat files to other (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I use LEdit as my primary modeling tool, L3Lab for explorative viewing and LDLITE for final high quality rendering. Well... In an interesting question and answer session I had originally with Brad Justus, it came to my attention that TLC did not approve of the 3D red brick ldraw.org logo. Brad checked with the corporate counsel about the logo, and relayed the (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.events, lugnet.cad) !
