(...) Like the shoulders? WOW! (...) Very, very sweet. I particuarily appreciate how the doors close once weapons are deployed on the back pods. The main gun looks seamless once all the way deployed. (...) Hey Brian! I have not seen you post for a while. Incredible Gundam. I think all your other Gundams need to join forces to take on this guy. Can it do any poses? How is its articulation? I would like to hear about the new construction (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Garage doors, partial Technic

Rearrange the rubberbands so that they help keeping the door closed when it has been closed a certain amount. To do this the hinge with the rubberband powered lewer needs to pass 180° which might be a problem. But if you solve that the rubberband (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Looking for train designs

(...) Thanks. The 4563 looks good. I'll just have to come up with some of those pieces used for the doors. This train is part of a Great Ball Contraption module, which should show up at Brickfest later this year... Steve (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

(...) That was done JUST with 4403 parts? Rockin! Designer sets rock and that's one of my faves. You've packed an amazing amount of detail into that build and it does look like a variant on the real F all right. (although red paint would play havoc (...) (...) Framed 2 axle, or two independent truck, 4 axle? In either case, cribbing from the official sets is not a bad approach... 4563 for a 2 axle and 4565 for a 2 truck 4 axle. Both are on BrickShelf instruction scans I believe. Those designs are (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

This time another alternate model of the 4403 set: (URL) This F44-03 is inspired by the F-14 and the idea of the jet in the official 4403 building instructions.
