We did the Tower last summer ('04 :) and went on that ride...The Lego
theme was extremely lame...I am pretty sure they were the same
simulators as the tour of the universe. They just had a couple of
posters stuck up and a couple of screens showing video loops that
looked like promo spots for the ride.
The base of the tower was also in construction at the time....lots of
black hanging cloths to hide the ugliness from the public, which might
be why it seemed extremely temporary.
The ride was super jerky....felt like my neck would break...maybe I'm
just getting old :) The kids enjoyed it though.

| (...) I saw a Racers ride in Legoland Germany called Racers 4D but it wasn't a motion ride. Still, I thought it was cute for the intended audience (ie, not me) (...) GMail is extremely well done: I used it extensively for work while in Germany (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
