Re: RCX and the 9v system - help needed!

Hi and thanks for the link! My problem isn't so much a problem more of a "I've got these LEGO computers, I don't build robots, now how do I make use of them" kind of thing. :) I think, unfortunately, the building or converting of an RCX is beyond me (...)   what is the best starter train set?

I've recently come out of my dark ages and feel its about time to finally get a train set up going after years of dreaming of one. I've done some research on which trains to get or start with and haven't come to any conclusive "this is the set to (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Right on Jass' master. You feel the funkiness. (...) The Insectoids Tech is on loan. The only clause included in the treaty was NO BRASSO. (...) Ok, I looked over the MichLUG flyer and it is far more train and club display orientated than I remembered. I think it might be better if we started from scratch.
