The Code pilot is not fit for this job. Unfortunately you can't program the CP to distuiguish between bar codes during run. If you can scrape up a few grey windows you can build decent cars from the engine parts of a second set. I built one using blue framed town windows and while it wasn't GREAT, it looks OK. (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

A few (Hah!) years ago we used to get that realistic slow train speed by running our Lionel "O" gauge and American Flyer engines on DC. I was working on a hump yard decoupler and was playing around with adding mags to the track using the 2x2 tile that has clips to hold the mag. What's really cool is how you can make a train car hop over the mag on the track. All this play was big (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

The banks *are* able to apply lower charges if they want. When you are in a strong position against them you can get very good conditions. Hi Alan, Your right, except that the banks charges you for handling the checks any way. I didnt know, but they do. At least they do it in Holland so Germany wont be much different. Sooner or later I'm going to try what I talked about in another thread - pulling the motor out of the shell, and adding in a capacitor and other circuits, so that the capacitor feeds non-stop 9V to lights or other circuits, while the "main" circuit (...) I'm working on it ;-) Plans are for building a black 4558 (AFTER I get a normal 4558), and working on hopper/cargo cars for my freight train. The rates quoted are correct. I've been charged DM15 and DM23 for cashing checks (a little under and alittle over $10) recently.
