Hi Ben J.!

I have opened a 9V motor last year and taken pics of that on my homepage:

My aim to do so was not the use of an rcx, but to convert the motor for use on
12V track. But I think my pictures may help you.

Has anyone investigated the possibility of disconnecting the motor from the pickups on the wheels so it can be powered from the top plate without driving other trains on the same track? Ideally one of the two top connections would still connect to (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)
