I'm working on a new layout and want to have a track line that goes 'underneath' my table like a subway. Has anyone done something like this before? I'm interested to know what the max. slope is that I can have on the up-ramp before the train (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

I'll be the first to admit my Lego Train experience and exposure isn't big, but I don't think I could have picked a better time to get involved, with the release of the Super Chief. This project came as a result of a story told by Brad Justus at BricksWest 2002. I'll explain. A while back, Brad was in Billund, and he was showing off to Kjeld the pre-production 10020. About the "Milwaukee Color", I've always seen similarities between Milwaukee and my other waterfront town built mostly in the 19th century, Troy.
