(...) The Display Adapter is a Tseng Labs ET4000/W32 PCI. It didn't come with the PC. I had trouble trying to run something a while back. I have noticed that they do interfer - mostly just 'blocking' signals from one or another. I haven't done any experimenting with changing frequencies on the spybots or tried to work around tis problem. I would still get a remote for the RCX - it (...) From my experience, The remotes, when first turned on, seem to send out the signals on all channels (1,2,3), until a specific channel is picked--then the remote only works for the robot that is on that specific channel. Wow, Someone who knows about this!!! First off, do you have any clue on how to access the IR port from a embedded VC++? I know how to program in C++, and VisualBasic, but how does VisualC++ work? I've never dealt with VC++, or any type of hardware (...) (24 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.palm, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

I noticed that my Spybotics remote control has 3 LEDs in it, on being the small visible red one for seeing that it is working, a large white one with a flat end, and a large grey one in a normal LED casing. (...) That's not true... I've controlled my RCX, Scout, and Spybotic with my iPAQ 3635 through the IrDA port. I used a demo version of "TV Remote Controller v3.0" from (URL) think those programs use the 3-wire mode of IrDA. More info here: (URL) (...) Hello John. Thanks again for the info about IR related syntax . With your information I wrote a small target finding related program. (...) First, let me just mention that there is no good reason at all to use ScriptEd for writing programs. (...) Alexander I got the same "problem" it seems the controller led doesn´t blink but if you look in the dark it does. (...) It should. Maybe you need to "establish a secure communication channel" (your Spybot and remote could be tuned on different channels). See (URL)2. Hi, I just bought a Gigamesh and cannot get it to respond to the controller. (Troubleshooter fails at "Testing controller") I suspect a hardware fault, but before contacting customer services I'd want to ask two questions. 1. If I just switch on the (...) (...) Have you tried making the file extension of your program be ".rcx2" or ".lsc" yet? That's the only way BricxCC can tell it should use LCC32 rather than NQC to compile the file.
