Hi all,

Today on Channel One News, which is a NY-based company that produces a news
broadcast each weekday for middle and high schools across the country, today
aired 3 different Spybotics commerical in a commercial block of (approx.)
two minutes, and also ran a headline across the bottom of the screen
advertising their website, http://www.channelone.com/

At the website, under the games and contests button, you can enter for a
chance to win a complete set of Spybotics products.  (If you're between 11
and 18, which kind of narrows down the majority of the lugnet audience)

On a slightly more business note, I found it interesting that LEGO would
dish out the money to air a commercial block lasting two minutes, as I
understand that Channel One, a Primedia company, makes all of its money off
its commercials, which can run over $100,000 per 30-seconds.

The majority of commercials on Channel One involve upcoming movies,
drug-free commercials, and things like acne medicine (geared at a teenage
audience.)

You can watch today's show via Real Player at http://www.channelone.com/video/

I thought it was interesting to note,

-Kevin
