John, I have 105 of the Toshiba 68HC11's, and I use them in all sorts of products with great results. I don't think the chip is the problem either. Dan, My 68HC11 chip has the following numbers: TMP68HC11A1T-3 and is, in fact, labeled TOSHIBA. I have two of these chips and I've tried both of them with exactly the same result. Dan, Thank you for the suggestions. Like you, I tried removing the white space(s) and it did not help. Yesterday, I installed a new memory chip and a new 68HC11.....same problem. hmm, hmm... i really don't like win98. imho, m$ just added a lot of junk with no real advantages over win95. same thing even worse with win me. usb works fine on my win95 system (sr 2.1, win95b) with updated usb support. i'm now trying to "hack" the (...) John, I just loaded up your version of the code you posted, It worked fine on reset. I took out the white space just to see, and it worked fine too! Fred, I double-checked, and my " main() " program (filename: jrm1.c) is all lower case letters. I confirmed case sensitivity by trying to call the " main() " file (filename: jrm1.c) which has been downloaded to the HB by typing " Main() " on the PC. (...) In adding LNP support to EmuLegOS I needed this feature in the lnpd. If you grab EmuLegos there is a patch for lnpd that will add the feature you are looking for. John, a couple things. 1. when you quit and restart IC, it forgets what programs you may have loaded into the HB. so that explains your #4 case below. 2. It seems that when a client of lnpd sends data to the IR tower, these are not sent to the other clients connected to the daemon. Unfortunately, I really need this feature... I am not entirely sure what you are asking about, but maybe this will help... I met a guy at Brickfest earlier this year named John Barnes. I just gave my son ROBOLAB (2.5, with USB tower, in the Team Challenge set) and can't get it to run on our Power Macintosh G3 running Mac OS 9.2.1.
