Your very welcome. I'm not sure I'd be willing to drive TOO far for a LEGO thing. We'll see how it goes. I say that we have the next one 2 months away (as usual) in mid-late May.   Shell stations selling bigger LEGO sets near meeting location
 
I did forget that there is a Shell station selling the "larger" Shell LEGO sets near our house. They have 1253, 1254, 1255, and 1256. These are relatively cheap, fairly good size town sets. ENOUGH, Brad was simply saying that if someone was willing to pay what he (and I as well) think the train model is worth than make him an offer. As another side comment, I'm personally very happy with the greater availability of parts, and the ease of connecting buyers and sellers. I VERY rarely sell things. Hi Richard, I agree that I didn't research this quite enough, but I think you're being a bit too harsh. Based on prices I had seen on Brickbay (which do tend to be higher than EBAY), the going rate for a complete set from the US (this seemsimportant (...) ah, brad is undoubtedly the finest lego architect i've seen, but this building just doesn't hold up to his others :-( and i think the issue is that its sandwiched between two street baseplates. Hi Guys, I have a metroliner set that I haven't used in a while. Its a great set, but I'm kind of sick of it and prefer my other train. Hmm - With the cost of LEGO, I think it would be a LOT cheaper to go with the concrete. Speaking of that, they poured the concrete today, so that gets a big part of the work out of the way. I'm watching it right now (from the Los Angeles area), and it's about science projects. It's almost over and I haven't seen any LEGO yet. Man, this show sure doesn't appeal to me! It is supposed to fall on the kids and get destroyed. They kept it. I'm not sure how it fits in to the script. I heard they show it in reverse reassembling from the ground up. OK, I just found out my "Kujawa Tower" will be on the Disney show "Lizzie McGuire" this Friday (2/23/01) at 6pm (5 central). It will also air Sunday 2/25 at 3pm and 7:30, and Sat. 3/3 at 6pm and 11pm. Don't miss seeing a LUGNET members creation on (...)
