Hi Guys.
If you didn't already know about it, I post updates to the meeting to
lugnet.org.us.lugola.
We have 24 people now (see below)!
With this many people, we will be needing a bit of help (we didn't know it
would be THIS popular!) Please email me if you think you can help out with
one or more of these issues.
Extension Cords: We need a few more of these as we only have one and a few
people are wanting to show off electrical stuff. We will be holding most of
the meeting in the garage and back yard so bring outdoor ones, if possible.
If you plan to show off something powered, then bring an extension cord if
possible. Also, we may need to "split" some of the outlets. I'll search
for power strips, but if you have one, it might be nice to bring it.
Chairs: We only have 4 suitable chairs. Nobody much has sat down in the
past. We mostly squat to rummage through each other's LEGO collections or
stand up and Chat. Anyhow, 4 chairs is still a bit of a small amount for
that many people. Can someone bring a folding chair or two in case some
more folks want to sit down.
Tables - We have one "card table" and one larger one (about the size of 2 of
them). Most people sound like they want to put their large stuff on the
ground anyhow (i.e. some of the huge structures and train layouts).
However, a lot of people are bringing small stuff. Can some people bring 1
or two card tables (or something portable like that)??
Blankets - At the last meeting, we dumped LEGO all over blankets. This
turned out to be an outstanding idea because we just pinched up the blanket
when done and the LEGO went right back into the bin. Unfortunately, we only
have about 3 old blankets. Bryce, I know you have several (since we used
them last time). Could we bring some? We do have some carpetted area
available, but with some folks (like Jimmy) bringing 3 BIG bins, we will run
out of carpetted area fast.
Food - We will be providing Chips & Salsa and soft-drinks. We'll have paper
cups and plates available. If anyone wants to bring something else, it
might be helpful.
Camera's - This is going to be a BIG event. I have a digital camera, but it
would be good if other folks can bring theirs. Regular cameras are good
also. We want to document this. Also, with this many people, I don't know
how good of "digital camera" services I can provide on a 1-to-1 basis. If
you were wanting this, then please email me so I can be prepared.
