Let me start off by echoing the thanks given to Brad and Shelly for hosting
in their beautiful home. Their location made it possible for us to expand
our attendees to include many extremely talented folks from San Diego. I
always love meeting people whose work I have admired online prior to the
event. We need to make this a somewhat regular occurrence, I know it will
probably not be possible for our new San Diego friends to drive up for
meetings in the LA area, but lets facilitate their attendance.
Additionally with the size and power of our LUG now we should also consider
having something of a California brickfest, inviting Lugneters from all over
the state. We could find a middle ground and all carpool. Lemme know what
everyone thinks of the idea.
Finally we did not decide on a location for the next meeting, I know we
volunteered Bryce, but did not fill him in on it. What are some of your
thoughts on next meeting, both date and location. If need be I could ask my
mother if she would allow us to host at her house in Rowland Heights (not
extremely central but not too far from anyone, except Dave). Either way
lemme know.

| Your very welcome. I'm not sure I'd be willing to drive TOO far for a LEGO thing. We'll see how it goes. I say that we have the next one 2 months away (as usual) in mid-late May. Bryce's house is OK if he wants to. We better not host it beyond next (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)
